Celtic rue late lapse

CELTIC's push for the Premier League title suffered another setback at Tannadice after a stunning late equaliser from Dundee United.

Jon Daly crashed the ball home from the edge of the penalty area in injury time. United by that stage had been reduced to 10 men, with Barry Robson sent off.

Celtic had taken the lead when Shunsuke Nakamura curled in a magnificent free-kick just after half-time.

Gordon Strachan said: "You're always at risk if you don't get the second goal and the guy Daly scored probably the best goal of his career."

Inverness Caledonian Thistle again proved to be the bogey team for Rangers when their 10 men came from behind to snatch a draw at Ibrox.

The Highlands side have now taken seven points from Rangers this season. Rangers should have cruised to victory when Charlie Adam netted on 14 minutes.

Caley Thistle's Darren Dods was red-carded, and the Gers created plenty of chances, but Craig Dargo grabbed the equaliser with eight minutes to go.
